About the Signs

119 West -- Ashburnham
Western terminus at New Hampshire state line. The sing in the foreground is the actual state line. The Massachusetts sign announcing "Entering Rindge, N.H." is not only in New Hampshire, it is in New Ipswich, N.H. The narrow vertical sign in the background (to the left and beyond the N.H. 119 shield) is the Rindge town line.

The state line and the Rindge/New Ipswich cut across the road diagonally, and meet at a granite pillar on the south side of the highway (see below).
